PRINX Am Ring

PRINX Race Cap Challenge

Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice

Version date: 1 July 2026

Part A: Terms and Conditions

1. Organiser

The organiser of the PRINX Race Cap Challenge is:

PRINX Chengshan Tire Europe GmbH
Berliner Allee 47
64295 Darmstadt
Germany

Email: info@prinx.eu

PRINX Chengshan Tire Europe GmbH is referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “PRINX” or “the Organiser”.

2. Nature of the Promotion

The PRINX Race Cap Challenge is a free promotional giveaway taking place at the Nürburgring racing event.

It is not a random prize draw, lottery or game of chance. Eligible participants who correctly complete all participation requirements and present the required evidence to an authorised member of the PRINX team will receive one PRINX Race Cap, subject to availability.

Caps will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

Participation does not require the purchase of any product or service.

3. Promotion Period and Location

The promotion will take place at the Nürburgring, Germany, on:

11 and 12 July 2026

The promotion will be available during the opening hours displayed at the PRINX promotional area.

The promotion will only be active while an authorised PRINX team member is present at the promotional area to verify participation and distribute the caps.

The promotion will end when either:

  • the published promotion period has ended;
  • the PRINX promotional area has closed;
  • no authorised PRINX team member is available to administer the promotion; or
  • all available PRINX Race Caps have been distributed,

whichever happens first.

PRINX does not guarantee that caps will remain available throughout the entire event.

4. Eligibility

The promotion is open only to natural persons who are aged 18 or over at the time of participation.

PRINX may ask a participant to show suitable evidence confirming that they are at least 18 years old.

Any age-verification document will only be viewed where reasonably necessary. PRINX will not routinely photograph, copy or retain identity documents.

Anyone who cannot provide reasonable confirmation of their age when requested may be refused participation.

Employees of PRINX, people directly involved in organising or administering the promotion, and employees of any agency or supplier directly involved in the promotion may be excluded from participating.

5. How to Participate

To participate successfully, an eligible individual must complete all of the following steps during the promotion period:

  • Follow the official PRINX accounts on both LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Publish an original photograph or post from the Nürburgring event on either LinkedIn or Instagram.
  • Tag the official PRINX account, @PRINX, in the published post.
  • Include the campaign hashtag: #PRINXAmRing
  • Clearly identify the promotional nature of the post by including a visible advertising disclosure such as: Werbung or Anzeige

The disclosure should be placed prominently at the beginning of the post or caption and should not be hidden among other hashtags.

Show an authorised member of the PRINX team at the promotional area:

  • that the participant follows the official PRINX accounts on LinkedIn and Instagram; and
  • the published post containing the required PRINX tag, campaign hashtag and advertising disclosure.

All participation requirements must be completed and verified before a cap can be distributed.

Drafts, unpublished posts, deleted posts, scheduled posts or other evidence that cannot be reasonably verified will not be accepted.

A participant cannot claim a cap retrospectively after leaving the event or after the promotion has closed.

6. Private or Restricted Social Media Accounts

Participants with private or restricted Instagram or LinkedIn accounts may participate.

The participant must show the published post directly to an authorised member of the PRINX team on their own mobile device so that the required tag, hashtag and advertising disclosure can be verified.

Participants are not required to make a private or restricted account public.

The post must nevertheless have been published through the relevant platform and must be visible to the PRINX team member during the on-site verification.

7. Requirements for Published Content

The post must be created by the participant or published with all necessary permissions.

The participant must ensure that the post does not:

  • infringe copyright, trade mark, privacy, image, publicity or other rights belonging to another person;
  • include identifiable people who have not agreed to appear in the published content;
  • contain unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, obscene or misleading content;
  • promote dangerous or unlawful behaviour;
  • contain material that could reasonably damage the reputation of PRINX, the Nürburgring event, its organisers or other participants; or
  • falsely suggest an official partnership, employment relationship or endorsement beyond the promotional giveaway.

PRINX may refuse participation where it reasonably believes that a post breaches these requirements, the rules of the relevant social media platform or applicable law.

8. Rights in Participant Content

Participants retain ownership of the photographs, videos and other content they publish.

Tagging PRINX or using the campaign hashtag does not automatically give PRINX unrestricted permission to use the participant’s content in advertising, printed materials, websites or future campaigns.

PRINX will obtain separate permission from the participant before reproducing or using their content outside the ordinary sharing or reposting functions made available by the relevant social media platform.

Participation does not require the participant to agree to any future advertising or marketing use of their content.

9. Distribution and On-Site Collection of PRINX Race Caps

Once all participation requirements have been successfully verified, the participant will receive one PRINX Race Cap directly from an authorised member of the PRINX team at the PRINX promotional area.

Caps are available only for immediate collection on-site during the promotion period.

The following conditions apply:

  • a maximum of one cap per person;
  • a maximum of one cap regardless of the number of posts published or social media accounts used;
  • caps are available only while stocks last;
  • caps cannot be reserved;
  • caps will not be posted, delivered or made available for collection after the event;
  • no retrospective claims will be accepted;
  • there is no cash alternative;
  • caps cannot be exchanged for cash, another product, credit or another benefit;
  • the entitlement to receive a cap cannot be transferred to another person; and
  • PRINX cannot guarantee a particular colour, size, version or design.

Showing more than one post does not create an entitlement to receive more than one cap.

A participant who completes the online steps but does not present the required evidence to an authorised PRINX team member at the promotional area will not be entitled to receive a cap.

If no authorised PRINX team member is present, the promotion is not open and no entitlement to a cap will arise.

10. Verification and Prevention of Multiple Participation

An authorised PRINX team member will oversee the promotion, verify participation and distribute the caps.

PRINX may take reasonable steps to confirm:

  • that the participant is aged 18 or over;
  • that all participation requirements have been completed;
  • that the relevant social media post belongs to the participant;
  • that the participant follows the official PRINX accounts on LinkedIn and Instagram; and
  • that the participant has not already received a cap.

Routine verification will be carried out visually using the participant’s own mobile device.

PRINX will not routinely:

  • photograph the participant’s screen;
  • take screenshots;
  • download or copy the post;
  • record the participant’s social media username; or
  • create a named list of participants.

PRINX may use a non-personal method to prevent multiple claims, such as:

  • a hand stamp;
  • a wristband;
  • a physical token;
  • an anonymous tally; or
  • another suitable event-based system.

Where PRINX reasonably suspects fraud, manipulation or repeated participation, it may record the limited information reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve the matter.

11. Exclusion from the Promotion

PRINX may refuse participation or withhold a cap where it reasonably believes that a participant has:

  • failed to meet the minimum age requirement;
  • refused to provide reasonable confirmation of their age where requested;
  • provided false or misleading evidence;
  • shown a post belonging to another person;
  • manipulated a post, profile or follow status;
  • attempted to participate more than once;
  • used multiple, automated or fraudulent accounts;
  • failed to complete any of the participation requirements;
  • breached these Terms and Conditions;
  • breached the terms or community rules of LinkedIn or Instagram;
  • breached applicable law or the rights of another person; or
  • acted abusively, threateningly or inappropriately towards event staff or other participants.

PRINX’s decision must be reasonable and based on the information available at the time of verification.

12. Cancellation, Suspension or Changes

PRINX may suspend, amend or end the promotion where this is reasonably necessary because of circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

  • exhaustion of available stock;
  • cancellation, postponement or interruption of the racing event;
  • safety or security concerns;
  • instructions from the venue, event organiser or a public authority;
  • technical failures affecting the promotion;
  • the absence of authorised staff needed to administer the promotion;
  • attempted fraud, manipulation or misuse; or
  • events of force majeure.

PRINX will not make changes that unfairly remove an entitlement already validly obtained by a participant.

Any material changes will be communicated at the promotional area or through the page accessed by the QR code, where reasonably possible.

13. Availability of the Prize

The PRINX Race Caps are promotional items available in limited quantities.

PRINX does not guarantee that every person who wishes to participate will receive a cap.

Completion of the online participation steps alone does not reserve a cap or guarantee availability.

A participant will only become entitled to receive a cap once:

  • all participation requirements have been completed;
  • those requirements have been successfully verified by an authorised PRINX team member;
  • the participant is physically present at the promotional area; and
  • a cap remains available for immediate distribution.

PRINX has no obligation to provide a replacement item, alternative prize, cash payment or later delivery where the available stock has been exhausted.

14. Liability

PRINX does not exclude or limit liability where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In particular, PRINX remains liable for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • liability under applicable product-liability legislation; and
  • the breach of an essential contractual obligation, subject to the limitations permitted by German law.

PRINX is not responsible for failures or interruptions relating to LinkedIn, Instagram, mobile networks, internet connections or participants’ mobile devices where those circumstances are outside PRINX’s reasonable control.

PRINX is not responsible where a participant is unable to publish or display a post because of:

  • insufficient mobile reception;
  • lack of internet access;
  • a discharged or malfunctioning device;
  • forgotten login details;
  • platform outages;
  • account restrictions; or
  • any other technical issue outside PRINX’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects the participant’s mandatory statutory or consumer rights.

15. Exclusion of Legal Recourse

Legal recourse in relation to the distribution of the promotional caps is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This exclusion does not affect:

  • any mandatory statutory rights;
  • the right to bring a claim that cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • rights arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence;
  • rights arising from death or personal injury; or
  • any data-protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation or other applicable legislation.

16. Social Media Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are not organisers of the promotion and are not responsible for:

  • administering the promotion;
  • determining eligibility;
  • verifying participation;
  • distributing the promotional merchandise; or
  • resolving questions, complaints or disputes relating to the promotion.

All questions, complaints and requests relating to this promotion must be directed to:

PRINX Chengshan Tire Europe GmbH

Participants remain responsible for complying with the terms, community rules, advertising requirements and privacy settings of the social media platform they use.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Where a participant is a consumer who normally lives in another country, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of that country.

The statutory rules concerning jurisdiction remain unaffected.

If any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Part B: Privacy Notice

1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for personal data processed in connection with this promotion is:

PRINX Chengshan Tire Europe GmbH
Berliner Allee 47
64295 Darmstadt
Germany

Email: info@prinx.eu

PRINX’s general Privacy Policy is available at:

https://www.prinxtire.eu/policies/privacy-policy

Where PRINX has appointed a Data Protection Officer, their confirmed contact details should be added before publication:

Data Protection Officer: [Insert confirmed details or remove this paragraph]

2. Purpose of This Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how PRINX processes personal data when individuals participate in the PRINX Race Cap Challenge.

It applies specifically to the administration, age verification, participation verification and on-site distribution of promotional caps.

LinkedIn and Instagram process personal data separately under their own privacy policies and terms.

3. Personal Data That May Be Processed

PRINX may temporarily view or process the following information:

  • the participant’s social media username or profile name;
  • publicly available or directly displayed profile information;
  • the participant’s published photograph, video, caption or other post content;
  • the PRINX account tag;
  • the campaign hashtag;
  • the advertising disclosure included in the post;
  • whether the participant follows the required PRINX accounts;
  • confirmation that the participant is aged 18 or over;
  • the approximate date and time of verification;
  • confirmation that a cap has been distributed;
  • information voluntarily provided through an enquiry, complaint or data-protection request; and
  • information reasonably required to investigate suspected fraud, misuse or repeated participation.

PRINX will not routinely request or retain identity documents.

Where there is a reasonable concern about age eligibility, PRINX may ask the participant to show suitable evidence.

PRINX will not routinely photograph, scan or copy that evidence.

4. Purposes of Processing

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • administering the promotion;
  • confirming that participants meet the minimum age requirement;
  • checking that the participation requirements have been completed;
  • distributing the PRINX Race Cap;
  • preventing multiple participation, fraud or misuse;
  • responding to questions and complaints;
  • protecting the legal rights of PRINX, participants and third parties; and
  • complying with legal obligations.

Participant information will not be added to an email-marketing list solely because the individual has taken part in the promotion.

PRINX will not use participation data for unrelated direct marketing without a separate valid legal basis.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where processing is necessary to administer participation and provide the promotional item, PRINX relies on Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary to perform the promotional arrangement with the participant.

Where processing is necessary to prevent misuse, investigate suspected fraud, protect the promotion or defend legal claims, PRINX relies on its legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

PRINX’s legitimate interests include:

  • operating the promotion fairly;
  • confirming age eligibility;
  • preventing people from receiving multiple caps;
  • protecting PRINX and legitimate participants against fraud; and
  • establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Where processing is required by law, PRINX relies on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Where PRINX requests permission to reuse participant content for separate marketing purposes, the legal basis and intended use will be explained separately before that permission is obtained.

6. Age Verification

The promotion is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over.

Where a PRINX team member reasonably believes that a participant may be under 18, the participant may be asked to display suitable evidence of age.

The document will normally only be viewed by the authorised PRINX team member.

PRINX will not routinely:

  • photograph the document;
  • scan the document;
  • make a physical copy;
  • record the document number; or
  • retain the participant’s full date of birth.

PRINX may record only that the participant’s age requirement was successfully verified, where this is reasonably necessary.

7. Visual Verification and Data Minimisation

For ordinary participation, the required information will be checked visually on the participant’s own mobile device.

PRINX will not routinely:

  • take screenshots;
  • photograph the participant’s screen;
  • download or copy the post;
  • record the participant’s social media username;
  • create a named list of participants; or
  • retain details of the participant’s LinkedIn or Instagram account.

The number of caps distributed may be recorded through an anonymous stock count, tally, hand stamp, wristband, token or similar method that does not directly identify individual participants.

Additional personal information will only be documented where reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint, suspected fraud, repeated participation or a legal claim.

8. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be accessed by:

  • authorised PRINX employees;
  • authorised event staff;
  • agencies or service providers assisting PRINX with the event;
  • professional advisers where necessary; and
  • authorities, courts or other recipients where disclosure is legally required.

Any service provider processing personal data on PRINX’s behalf must be appropriately authorised and contractually required to protect that information.

PRINX will not sell participant data.

9. Social Media Platforms

When a participant publishes a post on LinkedIn or Instagram, the relevant platform processes the participant’s personal data independently.

This may include processing relating to:

  • account information;
  • posts, photographs and videos;
  • device and usage information;
  • engagement and interaction data;
  • cookies and similar technologies; and
  • international data transfers.

PRINX does not control all processing carried out independently by LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

Participants should review the privacy information and account settings provided by the social media platform they use.

10. International Data Transfers

PRINX does not intend to create or transfer a separate participant database outside the European Economic Area as part of the routine administration of this promotion.

Social media platform operators may process information outside the European Economic Area.

Any such processing is governed by the relevant platform’s privacy policy and international-transfer arrangements.

11. Retention Period

For routine visual verification, PRINX will not retain the participant’s username, post, follow status or age-verification document.

Anonymous stock totals or distribution counts may be retained for internal event reporting because they do not identify individual participants.

Where personal data is provided as part of an enquiry, complaint, suspected misuse or legal matter, it will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • investigate and resolve the matter;
  • comply with legal obligations; or
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The information will then be deleted or anonymised unless continued retention is legally required.

12. Requirement to Provide Information

Participation is voluntary.

However, PRINX must be able to view the information required to confirm that:

  • the participant is aged 18 or over;
  • the participant follows the required PRINX social media accounts;
  • the required post has been published;
  • the correct tag, hashtag and advertising disclosure have been included; and
  • the participant has not already received a cap.

Where a participant does not show the required information, PRINX will be unable to verify participation and will not distribute a cap.

No automated decision-making or profiling is used to determine eligibility.

13. Participant Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations set out in applicable data-protection law, participants may have the right to:

  • request access to their personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive eligible personal data in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Requests may be sent to:

Email: info@prinx.eu

PRINX may need to request sufficient information to confirm the identity of the person making the request.

14. Right to Object

Where PRINX processes personal data on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the participant may object to that processing on grounds relating to their particular situation.

PRINX will stop the relevant processing unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override the participant’s interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

15. Right to Complain

Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

The supervisory authority responsible for PRINX’s registered location is:

The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

Participants may also contact the competent supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country where they normally live or work, or where they believe a data-protection infringement has occurred.

16. Changes to This Privacy Notice

PRINX may update this Privacy Notice where reasonably necessary because of changes to the promotion, its processing activities or applicable legal requirements.

The version available through the event QR code during the promotion period will be the applicable version.
